We want Argentinian VET providers to improve their management capacities, especially in the field of Work-Based Learning activities governance and quality assurance but also in the field of innovation and internationalisation of their VET systems having the European approach as point of reference. Being exposed to this approach, Argentinian VET providers (their staff, managers and teachers) will become more familiar with and progressively experts in WBL piloting the innovation with the proper tools. Furthermore, by piloting WBL experiences with local companies, VET Teachers will systemise cooperation relationship and will benefit from the technical up-skilling opportunities provided by the private sector and they will, definitely, contribute to bring the labour market and the VET system of the Cordoba region closer.

The main actors of the manufacturing sector of the Cordoba region (i.e. tutors, company trainers, mentors, etc.) will have the opportunity to develop better inputs for the design of WBL curricula and professional profiles. Thanks to the VET-Business partnership framework the private sector will be systematically involved in the skills anticipation activities – crucial to find suitable apprentices for specific job positions – and in the joint definition of WBL learning outcomes – crucial to ensure the quality of the activities on the job. Definitively, private sector will benefit of skilled workers leading to increase the local companies’ competitiveness.

In the future we hope that VETBUS2B will show its impact on the specific target group composed by Argentinian students attending the second Cycle of the VET path in “electronics technician”. They will benefit from the implementation of the local pilot action running the WBL curriculum and validating the competences achieved directly on the job according the official EU validation tools. Furthermore, the same pilot WBL experience may open for them direct employment possibility in private companies, thus strengthen the links between Cordoba VET system and its labour market. Furthermore, those students coming from disadvantaged background will have the opportunity to overcome socio-economic barriers and to finally access effective WBL experiences. Thus, definitively powering a virtuous cycle for the whole socio-economic local development.
